In the paper entitled “A national survey of audit activity across the primary-secondary care interface” by M Eccles, M Deverill, E McColl, and H Richardson which was published in Quality in Health Care 1996;5:193–200, the number of audits in column 1 of table 3 headed “Audit complete” should be 117, not 177.
